About us

"Solid Rock" is a reference to Jesus Christ himself. We are a church that preaches Christ crucified, buried, and risen again. He is the chief cornerstone upon which all other beliefs rest.

Baptist is our identification in doctrine. Additionally, we are an independent church. That means we are not a member of any conference, convention, or other organization.

Meet Pastor Beaver

Hello, my name is Matthew Beaver. I have had the opportunity to pastor Solid Rock Baptist Church for 7 years. The Lord moved my family and I from North Carolina in 2019, and it has been a joy to call Gooding home. Here at Solid Rock, I am confident that you will find a group of believers that will welcome you in all of our meeting opportunities. Our services consist of singing, praying, and spirit-filled Biblical preaching. We cordially invite you and hope to see you this Sunday! We will save a seat for you.
